Obviously, outside of this being a 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air with some of the most iconic body lines in automotive history, the first thing that should grab you is the absolutely MILES DEEP black paint on this car. We ALL know how hard it is to shoot black paint and get it done right, and ladies and gentleman, this is done RIGHT!!!!!! As you take a walk around the car you are going to see that all of the bright work on this car makes you want to wear your shades. There isn't one thing that doesn't just gleam on this car. The 17" Cragar wheels are no exception as they gleam from a mile a way as well.
Now, catch your breath for a second, open the driver door, and continue to be just blown away by this awesome, and perfect interior. The fit and finish of everything in this car is second to none. The power seat doesn't have a single rip or tear in it. The dash in this car is a model of perfection. Everything works and looks like it just rolled down the assembly line yesterday. Hell, this one probably looks better. Your tunes will sound great coming out of the reproduction wonderbar radio, and during those hot summer months, you will be able to cruise with the windows up and enjoy your ice cold A/C from Vintage Air.
Ok, now you are sitting in the car, you have seen everything the interior has to offer, but you really want to hear this baby roar. You give the gas pedal a couple pumps, and you turn that key. The 350 Chevy comes to life and you are having a hard time trying to get that ear to ear grin off of your face. You jump out, open the hood, and you immediately put your shades back on for all of the chrome and mirrors under the hood. Chip Foose always says that when you open a hood the motor should be like the jewel in the middle of the box, and that is exactly what you have right here. That beautiful motor is matted to a 700R4 overdrive transmission, that finishes out to a ford 9" rear end. The rear gears are unknown, but she cruises down the highway with now problems.
Steering is not a problem with this car now that it has a modern rack and pinion underneath it. As you will see in the undercarriage pics the stainless steel exhaust shines as much as the rest of the car, and so does the stainless steel fuel tank. Obviously, it goes with out saying that this is a complete rust free car that if you wanted to you could drive anywhere. Just show up to your local cruise night or major car show and just ask them to mail the best of show trophy to your house. Whoever is the lucky person to have this car next will really have a piece that they can be proud of.
