Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present an American icon. Before you is a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Nomad. These were unique vehicles when they were new and that still holds true today. This was the "sports car" station wagon. This was not your typical grocery getter. These had more style and flare to them as a two door, but could still do everything that the bigger and less styled 4 doors could.
You just know what this is as soon as you look at it. The lines on this wagon just jump out at you and scream cool. Very cool actually. These are very rare and not many of them survived over the years especially one this nice. This car is as straight as an arrow and you be that a magnet will stick to it. It may have a surf board on it, but it is not a 50 foot bondo queen where you can surf on the waves of the quarter panels. You will see that the undercarriage of this sweet ride is as nice as the top. With the surf board mounted on the roof, we hearken back to the Beach Boys that said, "Catch a wave and you're sittn on top of the world."
The interior of this fine machine just carries right along with how nice this car is. The two tone cream and blue interior just looks perfect. It is extremely comfortable with no rips or tears. A modern radio has been installed so you have the old look, but are able to listen to all of your modern tunes. This will make you relive the good old days if you rode in one of these as a kid, but if not, will make you want to start new memories with you and your kids riding in it today.
Under the hood sits a beautiful 350/365 HP crate motor. You are going to have plenty of power when you put your right foot down on this one. This is matted to a 700R4 overdrive transmission. So you have all the power you want with the comfort of being able to drive it on the highway and not rev the motor to death. This all goes out to a 10 bolt rear end. We are not sure of the gear ration, but this car performs flawlessly on the highway so they aren't to steep like a 4.11 would be.

Bottom line is that once you look at all the photos from top to bottom, and inside and out, and watch the video, the only question you have to ask yourself is how fast can I get it in my garage.
