1960 Chevrolet Apache 10 Pick Up Truck

Just Toys Classic Cars is your classic truck headquarters. We have them from bone stock original to modified. We are proud to present this awesome 1960 Chevrolet Apache 10 truck. This truck was frame off restored about 5 years ago and the fit and finish are in great shape as you will see in the pics. For it's age, the bright work is in really good shape as well as the trim. This is one of those trucks that you could pull in to any show and as soon as you park have a ton of people around you looking at it. These trucks are getting harder and harder to find in this kind of shape with the original stuff still in it. The paint as you can see is in great shape and looks good from 2 feet or 20 feet. No 50 foot bondo queen here. This truck was done right.

Now, go on over and open up the driver door and see that the beauty from the outside carries right over to the inside. Unlike our trucks of today where we are so spoiled with creature comforts, these trucks were no frills. You will see that the great paint job carries over to the interior doors, and jams as well. The bench seat as you will see in the photos and the video have been re done, and the padding, and the springs are in tip top shape. You will also see a new gas tank behind the seat as well. Like we said, everything was re done, and re done well on this truck. You will not see a headliner or padded dash on this truck, but everything is painted in the same tip top condition. Your eyes do not deceive you, there is not a radio currently in this truck. That is great because you can put in whatever radio you want to keep this dash clean looking. It hasn't been all cut up with modern radios so you could get a vintage looking radio and get some of your favorite tunes out while you are cruising down the road.

Now we know that you are wanting to fire this thing up and relive some good old days. So, pull the choke out a bit, (yes, we are very spoiled with our modern trucks), give the gas a pump or two, make sure you are in neutral and turn that key. You are going to listen to a straight 6 cylinder engine that hums like a Singer sewing machine. Once you get her warmed up you can push that choke in and get ready to go have some fun on the open road. Now, put your foot on the clutch, pull the shifter back and down in to first, (yes it is a 3 on the tree), and lean on the gas and ease off the clutch, and leave wherever you are in the dust. If you don't have memories of at least riding in one of these trucks when you were a kid, take your kids in it if you have them and create some new memories with them.

As you will also see in the pics, this truck was truly done from tip to tail and top to bottom. The undercarriage of this truck is Barrett-Jackson chassis cam worthy. This is a very clean truck that all you have to do is change the oil when it needs it and put tires on it when they wear out. The drum brakes stop you on a dime, and even though this is manual steering, it turns really well. No need to build up those Popeye forearms here.
